This is a sharp home. Modern architecture, clean stone work, wood accents - the kind of place where every detail matters. So when rain hits that roofline and has nowhere to go, it ends up dripping straight onto the concrete around the entryway. Over time, that constant drip stains surfaces, creates slippery spots, and can work its way toward the foundation. Not ideal.
We installed a seamless gutter system along the roofline with downspouts positioned to move water away from the concrete and landscaping. On a home like this, placement is everything. The downspouts needed to follow the lines of the exterior without looking like an afterthought. We ran them tight to the stone column near the front entry and along the garage side so they do the job without standing out.
That's honestly one of the bigger things we think about on a job like this - how it looks when we're done. Gutters that are slapped on without any thought for the home's exterior can drag down the whole look. Seamless gutters help a lot here because there are no visible seams breaking up the line, and color matching to the existing trim keeps everything cohesive.
The concrete around the entry and garage is clean, the landscaping stays protected, and the next rainstorm isn't going to send water pooling where people are walking. That's really what a properly installed gutter system is supposed to do - handle the water before it becomes your problem.
